Q. Is NRG becoming competition for the National Roofing Contractors Association?

A. Absolutely not! While we at NRG believe that we will soon have the world's largest member base of roofing contractors, our focus is different from that of the NRCA. National Roof Group is building a series of websites where the roofing industry can find common ground and build a sense of community and friendly competition. We feel that each Roofing Company can better itself by using the tools that we offer without paying dues, but there are services that the NRCA provides that we would highly recommend you access. The NRCA is good at what they do, and replicating their mission has not, nor will it be our focus.

Q. I have heard that while it is free to sign up, you will ask for money later. Is this true?

--A. Not at all true. As we have progressed with our plans, we have heard through the grapevine that there is a rumor about us charging contractors after they have signed up as a member. Although we have no idea how this rumor started, NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH! All of the websites and benefits you receive access to through NRG are absolutely free for roofing contractors. If you have any doubts, join and ask other members.

Q. How do I sign up?

--A. Signing up is easy and free. Simply fill out this form (answering the questions honestly) and we will send you what you need to know. It only takes a few minutes, and you will gain access to all of our sites and all we have to offer.

Q. Will I be receiving a membership packet? Membership number?

--A. Yes, but in an effort to keep your membership free to roofing contractors, we have made our membership packet digital. Once you have completed your registration, the system will automatically redirect you to view the packet. You can choose to print it out, or bookmark it for later viewing. If you would like to utilize a member discount and don't have your number, please feel free to call or email us.

Q. Will you sell my information?

--A. Never. The information you provide will be used to generally chart the roofing industry and companies across the U.S. We will not sell your email or mailing addresses.

Q. Is my information secure?

--A. We have taken the utmost care in designing our databases to prevent hacking and protect your information. We will continually update our systems to provide a secure relationship with National Roof Group.

Q. Is NRG a non-profit organization?

--A. No. We are a for-profit company who was founded on the principle that roofing contractors should receive all member benefits at no cost. We will eventually be paying the bills with advertising that does not take away from the integrity of the websites. This keeps the sites from becoming cluttered with advertising, and helps you find information more quickly.  

Q. Are the people at NRG accessible? 

--A. Absolutely! If you have a question that you cannot find an answer to, please feel free to ask us! We'd love you hear from you. You will find that NRG staff is VERY down-to-earth... besides, NRG was founded by a roofing contractor who still works in the industry. We feel that this gives us a unique perspective that other organizations may not have.

Q. If I have a suggestion, may I submit it to you?

--A. Please do! We are constantly brainstorming about ways to give contractors even more. All suggestions are welcome and we would love to hear from you. Email us here.
